Insanity – Day 3: Cardio ‘recovery’
Clearly my concept of taking it easy is not the same as Shaun T’s. Although I was not jumping up and down and on the verge of passing out, today, I had to dig deeper.
During those downward facing dogs and plies, my body was trembling and shaking. I had to remind myself that the shakes were good – toxins were being released (or so they told me during my yoga days).
I must admit though, I was a little disappointed with myself. I came to the realisation that my core is nowhere as strong as it use to be as engaging my core was once second nature.
Aim: to not only persevere but to strengthen the core.
